Description

These Buffalo Chicken Roly Poly wraps are a quick and delicious meal featuring grilled chicken strips, melted cheddar cheese, fresh vegetables, and a spicy kick from hot sauce, all toasted to golden perfection on a panini press. Perfect for a satisfying lunch or easy dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

Chicken and Tortillas

  • 1 (22-oz) bag frozen Tyson grilled chicken strips, thawed
  • 7 soft taco flour tortillas

Cheese and Vegetables

  • 7 slices shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 (4-oz) jar mushroom slices, drained
  • 2 plum or roma tomatoes, sliced

Condiments

  • ¼ cup hot sauce
  • ¾ cup bottled ranch dressing

Instructions

  1. Prepare the base: Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each tortilla as the base layer, followed by approximately 3 ounces of the sliced grilled chicken strips evenly spread on top.
  2. Add vegetables and sauce: Add a few pieces of thinly sliced onion, several mushroom slices, two slices of tomato, and 1 to 2 teaspoons of hot sauce on top of the chicken for flavor and texture.
  3. Form the wrap and toast: Fold the edges of each tortilla inward toward the middle to enclose the filling securely, then place each wrap onto a panini press and cook until the tortilla is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  4. Serve: Remove the toasted wraps from the press and serve warm with a side of ranch dressing for dipping.

Notes

  • Thaw the chicken strips completely before assembling for best texture.
  • Adjust the amount of hot sauce to your preferred spice level.
  • You can substitute ranch dressing with blue cheese dressing for an alternative dip.
  • To make preparation faster, slice all vegetables ahead of time.
  • Use a panini press, grill pan, or skillet to toast the wraps if a panini press is unavailable.
