Description

Delicious and easy-to-make Cheesy Garlic Butter Rollups featuring crescent roll dough filled with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses, brushed with a garlic butter mixture and sprinkled with Italian seasoning and fresh parsley. Perfect as a savory snack or appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale

Rollups

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or your favorite melty cheese)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Garnish

  • Chopped fresh parsley
  • Extra Parmesan cheese for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  2. Prepare the garlic butter: In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and salt. Mix well to create a flavorful garlic butter sauce.
  3. Assemble the rollups: Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles. Sprinkle 1–2 tablespoons of shredded mozzarella and a light sprinkle of Parmesan onto the wide end of each triangle.
  4. Roll the dough: Starting from the wide end, roll each triangle towards the tip, fully enclosing the cheese inside. Place each rollup seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Brush with garlic butter: Generously brush each rollup with the garlic butter mixture, ensuring the tops and edges are coated to enhance flavor and browning.
  6. Bake: Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the rollups are golden brown and the cheese inside is melted and bubbly.
  7. Garnish and serve: Remove from the oven and while still warm, sprinkle extra Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley on top. Serve immediately for the best taste and texture.

Notes

  • Use any melty cheese you prefer such as cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a cheese blend.
  • For extra crispiness, brush the rollups with garlic butter halfway through baking as well.
  • Adjust garlic quantity to your taste preference or add garlic powder for a milder flavor.
  • These rollups can be prepared ahead and refrigerated before baking; just add a few extra minutes to the baking time if chilled.
  • Serve with marinara or ranch dipping sauce for added flavor options.
