Description

These Cherry Lime Ice Pops are a refreshing and tangy frozen treat perfect for warm days. Combining the natural sweetness of cherries with the zesty brightness of lime, these ice pops are easy to make with just a few ingredients and a blender. They offer a delightful balance of flavors that kids and adults alike will enjoy as a cool and healthy snack.

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen cherries, pitted
  • 1 cup lime juice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp lime zest

Instructions

  1. Blend Ingredients: In a blender, combine the cherries, lime juice, water, sugar, and lime zest. Blend until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.
  2. Fill Molds: Pour the blended mixture into ice pop molds, leaving some space at the top to allow for expansion as they freeze.
  3. Insert Sticks & Freeze: Insert the ice pop sticks into each mold and freeze for at least 4 hours or until the ice pops are solid.
  4. Release Ice Pops: To remove the ice pops from the molds, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds until they loosen enough to pull out easily.

Notes

  • You can adjust the sugar amount to taste or substitute with honey or agave syrup for a natural sweetener.
  • Frozen cherries can be used if fresh cherries are not available.
  • For a more intense lime flavor, add extra lime zest or an additional tablespoon of lime juice.
  • If you don’t have ice pop molds, small paper cups with wooden sticks can be used as an alternative.
