Description

This festive Christmas Tree Cake Dip is a delightful and creamy dessert perfect for holiday gatherings. Made with Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes blended with cream cheese, milk, vanilla, and Cool Whip, it creates a rich and fluffy dip that can be garnished with sprinkles and served with an array of dippers like cookies, fruit, or pretzels.

Ingredients

Scale

Dip Ingredients

  • 5 Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes (3 oz size) or 8 cakes (8.52 oz box)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 oz Cool Whip whipped topping, thawed

Garnish

  • 1 Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cake (any size)
  • Christmas tree sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cream Cheese: In a mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese. Use a hand mixer to beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add Christmas Tree Cakes: Break up five 3 oz cakes or eight 8.52 oz cakes into smaller pieces and add them to the bowl with the cream cheese.
  3. Incorporate Milk and Vanilla: Pour in ¼ cup of milk and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Beat the mixture until all ingredients are well combined and smooth.
  4. Fold in Whipped Topping: Gently fold in 8 oz of Cool Whip whipped topping into the mixture, being careful not to overmix. The dip can have some texture and does not need to be perfectly smooth.
  5. Chill: Transfer the dip into a serving bowl, cover, and refrigerate until ready to serve. Chilling helps the flavors meld and the dip to firm up slightly.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Garnish the top of the dip with a whole Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cake and sprinkle festive Christmas tree sprinkles on top. Serve with graham crackers, Nilla wafers, pretzels, fruit slices, shortbread cookies, or Oreo cookies for dipping.

Notes

  • Use fresh, softened cream cheese for easiest mixing.
  • You can adjust the amount of Cool Whip to modify dip consistency.
  • For a lighter dip, try reduced-fat cream cheese and whipped topping.
  • Keep the dip refrigerated until serving to maintain freshness and texture.
  • Perfect for holiday parties and easy to prepare in advance.
