Ingredients
Scale
For the Latte
- 1 cup oat milk (unsweetened or barista blend)
- 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee or espresso, chilled
- 1-2 tablespoons honey (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ice cubes
Optional Garnish
- Cinnamon or cocoa powder, for sprinkling
Instructions
- Prepare the coffee: Brew a strong coffee or espresso and allow it to chill in the refrigerator while you prepare the rest of the ingredients.
- Mix the honey and vanilla: In a glass or small bowl, combine the honey and vanilla extract. Stir well to blend the flavors.
- Add oat milk: Pour the oat milk into the honey and vanilla mixture and stir until the honey is completely dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
- Combine coffee and oat milk mixture: Fill a glass with ice cubes, pour the chilled coffee over the ice, then add the oat milk, honey, and vanilla mixture on top. Stir gently to combine all ingredients evenly.
- Garnish and serve: Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon or cocoa powder on top, if desired, and serve immediately for a refreshing iced latte experience.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of honey to your preferred sweetness level.
- Using barista-style oat milk can create a creamier texture.
- For a stronger coffee flavor, use espresso shots.
- Make sure the coffee is fully chilled before mixing to avoid melting the ice too quickly.
- Can be served with lactose-free or vegan honey substitutes if desired.
