Description

Delight in a refreshing and creamy treat with these Frozen Mango Yogurt Pops. Made with ripe mangoes and creamy Greek yogurt, lightly sweetened with honey or maple syrup and a hint of lemon, these popsicles are perfect for a healthy, cool dessert or snack during warm weather. Easy to prepare and naturally gluten-free, they combine fruity freshness with the tangy richness of yogurt for a deliciously satisfying summer treat.

Ingredients

Scale

Frozen Mango Yogurt Pops Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (full-fat recommended)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Blend Mangoes: Place the peeled and chopped mangoes into a blender and blend until completely smooth and creamy, ensuring there are no chunks left.
  2. Add Remaining Ingredients: Add the Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and a pinch of salt to the blended mango. Blend again until all ingredients are fully combined into a smooth mixture.
  3. Fill Popsicle Molds: Pour the mango yogurt mixture evenly into popsicle molds, leaving some space at the top to allow for expansion during freezing.
  4. Insert Sticks and Freeze: Place the popsicle sticks into the molds and freeze for a minimum of 4 hours, or until the popsicles are fully solidified.
  5. Unmold Popsicles: To release the popsicles, briefly run warm water over the outside of the molds to loosen them, then gently pull the pops out.

Notes

  • For a vegan version, substitute Greek yogurt with a plant-based yogurt and use maple syrup instead of honey.
  • Ensure mangoes are ripe for the best natural sweetness and smooth texture.
  • If you don’t have popsicle molds, small paper cups and popsicle sticks can be used as an alternative.
  • Add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors and balance sweetness.
  • Serve immediately after removing from the mold for best texture or store leftovers in a sealed container in the freezer.
