Ingredients
Scale
Frozen Mango Yogurt Pops Ingredients
- 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (full-fat recommended)
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Blend Mangoes: Place the peeled and chopped mangoes into a blender and blend until completely smooth and creamy, ensuring there are no chunks left.
- Add Remaining Ingredients: Add the Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and a pinch of salt to the blended mango. Blend again until all ingredients are fully combined into a smooth mixture.
- Fill Popsicle Molds: Pour the mango yogurt mixture evenly into popsicle molds, leaving some space at the top to allow for expansion during freezing.
- Insert Sticks and Freeze: Place the popsicle sticks into the molds and freeze for a minimum of 4 hours, or until the popsicles are fully solidified.
- Unmold Popsicles: To release the popsicles, briefly run warm water over the outside of the molds to loosen them, then gently pull the pops out.
Notes
- For a vegan version, substitute Greek yogurt with a plant-based yogurt and use maple syrup instead of honey.
- Ensure mangoes are ripe for the best natural sweetness and smooth texture.
- If you don’t have popsicle molds, small paper cups and popsicle sticks can be used as an alternative.
- Add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors and balance sweetness.
- Serve immediately after removing from the mold for best texture or store leftovers in a sealed container in the freezer.
