Description

Delicious and easy-to-make Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Roll-Ups featuring flaky crescent dough wrapped around savory sausage links, fluffy scrambled eggs, and melted cheddar cheese. Perfect for a hearty breakfast or brunch that the whole family will love.

Ingredients

Scale

Egg Mixture

  • 5 eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Other Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) Pillsburyâ„¢ refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 8 sausage links
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to get it ready for baking the roll-ups.
  2. Prepare the eggs: Beat all 5 eggs in a small bowl, then reserve 2 tablespoons for brushing on the crescent rolls later.
  3. Scramble the eggs: Pour the remaining beaten eggs into a pan and scramble them gently until cooked through but still moist.
  4. Prepare dough: Unroll the crescent dough onto a clean work surface and separate it into 8 individual triangles.
  5. Add cheese: Cut each slice of cheddar cheese in half. Place one half slice of cheese on each dough triangle.
  6. Assemble roll-ups: Spoon a portion of the scrambled eggs onto each triangle and top with one sausage link.
  7. Roll up dough: Loosely roll up each triangle starting at the wide end, encasing the filling, and place them seam side down on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  8. Brush and season: Brush the tops with the reserved 2 tablespoons of beaten eggs and sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper for flavor and color.
  9. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the roll-ups are golden brown and cooked through.

Notes

  • Use fully cooked sausage links for quicker preparation.
  • Feel free to substitute cheddar cheese with your favorite cheese variety.
  • Serve warm with ketchup or your preferred breakfast dipping sauce.
  • These roll-ups can be prepared ahead and reheated in the oven for convenience.
  • Adjust seasoning according to your taste preferences.
