Ingredients
Scale
Pizza Base
- 1 package prebaked mini 8-inch pizza crusts (such as Boboli)
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
Toppings
- 2 (1 oz each) mozzarella string cheese
- 3 large pitted black olives
Instructions
- Prepare the Pizzas: Preheat your oven to 450°F. Place the prebaked mini pizza crusts on a baking sheet to get ready for topping.
- Spread the Sauce: Evenly spread 1/2 cup of pizza sauce over each pizza crust, ensuring a thin and even layer for balanced flavor.
- Create the Spiderweb: Pull the mozzarella string cheese into thin strips and creatively arrange these strips on the pizzas in the shape of a spiderweb, making sure to cover the surface evenly but delicately for the web effect.
- Bake the Pizzas: Place the prepared pizzas in the preheated oven and bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly. After baking, let the pizzas cool for about 3 minutes before decorating.
- Assemble the Olive Spiders: Take two olives and cut the ends off to form spider heads. Halve the remaining olive lengthwise, using one half as the spider’s body. Slice the leftover olive pieces into thin strips to serve as legs. Artistically place the assembled olive spiders on top of each pizza, placing them strategically on the spiderweb design.
Notes
- Use string cheese for easy shredding suitable for the spiderweb pattern.
- Ensure the olives are pitted to avoid any choking hazard.
- Let the pizzas cool slightly before adding olive spiders to prevent melting or sliding of toppings.
- Mini pizza crusts can be substituted with any prebaked pizza base of approximately 8 inches.
- Feel free to add extra toppings but keep the spiderweb visible for visual effect.
